The e-tron can travel up to 34 miles on electric power alone, and its batteries can be charged in as little as 2.5 hours. That was at least as good as any of its direct rivals when new.
The Audi EVSE comes with a NEMA 14-50 plug for use on 240V circuits (Level 2 charging) and a NEMA 5-15 plug for 120V circuits (Level 1 charging). The manual says that the green light at the plug pulsates while charging but is solid green when fully charged. I've plugged into household current (120v) overnight or longer (10-12 hours) and the light is still pulsating. I tried a 240v public station and left it for 4 hours and the green light was still pulsating. Never went solid.
