A really, really nice combination for just over $1000 all-in. Comparing this to my Sig 229-9-LEGION RX that was just over $1500 all-in is apples and oranges. The P-01 is lighter and more compact, but with the 16+1 round Mecgar mags has plenty of capacity and about 4 oz lighter than the Sig.

Although I do not have either pistol I do have a P-07 Duty and a SP-01 Tactical. Out of the box the omega trigger system is only slightly better that the original CZ trigger system. New the omega system is lighter and smoother. But after a few hundred rounds and the triggers are broken-in, the original trigger gets much better than the omega

ok, took the CZ Omega to the club, shot a total of 100 rounds, all new ammo, Federal 115 gr, and S&B 115 gr. the CZ shoots like a CZ, and i gotta tell you, that is a sweet trigger outta the box. after i got it home and field stripped it, i removed the decocker levers, and replaced them with the ordinary safety ones.
Strangely, the Comp hammer and the standard hammer are the same price on Cajun Works and CZ. The standard SP-01 Tactical comes with night sights. These come with fiber. This total package is less than $200 parts and removes the more expensive night sights. As you said, the trigger on the SP-01 isn't good for reset.
